We’re thrilled to announce an exciting milestone for Kidoz and the gaming industry as a whole: our CEO, Jason Williams, has been appointed Co-Chair of the IAB Canada Gaming Committee, alongside Pascaline Forget of Initiative. This prestigious appointment recognizes Kidoz’s leadership in mobile gaming and kid-safe advertising, and further solidifies our position at the forefront of innovation in the digital media space.

For those unfamiliar, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is the authoritative voice of digital advertising in Canada and globally. With members like Google, Meta, and of course Kidoz, the IAB sets the standards, best practices, and strategic direction for the digital marketing ecosystem. Over the last few years, the IAB has made a concerted effort to recognize gaming as a dominant and growing force in digital media.

With this appointment, Jason will help guide the committee’s work in shaping the future of gaming advertising, ensuring the category is fairly represented and understood by brands, media buyers, and agencies alike. From setting benchmarks to creating best practices and educational initiatives, this role is pivotal in moving the gaming category into the mainstream of digital marketing.
