Tony Lee - Senior Artist (Location: Vancouver)
Welcome to the next instalment in our Employee Spotlight series, where we will meet some of the friendly faces here at Kidoz, and showcase firsthand stories about what working at Kidoz is like.
What do you do at Kidoz?
I am a Senior Artist, working in UI, graphic design, and bits of illustration, vfx and animation.
What is the most interesting thing about your work?
I get to create new things everyday with nice creative people.
Where were you before working at Kidoz? Any interesting jobs that led you to where you are today?
I have worked at many video game studios over many years, most recently Relic Entertainment. Years ago, I helped design a luxury lifestyle magazine from an office in a gritty neighbourhood of Vancouver.
What do you like most about the culture at Kidoz?
I love the friendly, professional, no drama (so far!) environment. It’s refreshing!
Can you share a few fun facts about yourself?
I am a drummer playing in several local bands. I make one minute #garagerock videos where I play all the instruments in mediocre fashion, and I have a Friday Tie Day photo on Facebook every week.
