Do I have to pay to use KIDO’Z?

KIDO’Z Kid Mode for Android devices is free to download and use, and includes several basic parental control options that allow parents to manage their children’s accounts. If you’d like to be more hands on and have more control over the content your child sees, be able to add your own content, manage your child’s KIDO’Z screen time, then we offer a special premium service with KIDO’Z PRO. KIDO’Z PRO offers more options, gives more control, and includes special features available only to subscribers.

You can purchase an annual KIDO’Z PRO subscription for $9.95/y (includes 7 day FREE trial).

For PC, KIDO’Z has a 7 DAY FREE TRIAL, so you can download and try it out out, no credit card details are needed.

Once you download KIDO’Z, you’ll receive a fully functional trial. After your trial period has expired you will need to purchase a license or continue in preview mode, which has limited functionality.

When purchasing a PC license you can choose one of the following option:

  • Monthly Subscription – $4.99/m
  • Annual Subscription – $39.99/y

What if I have more than one child ?

For the mobile version of KIDO’Z, under one KIDO’Z parents account you can create a personalized kid’s account for each one of your children. Each kid can have different settings, and in addition KIDO’Z will adjust the content for each child automatically according to his/her age.

For the PC version, you will need to create a separate account for each child under a different e-mail address. If you purchase an annual or lifetime subscription, we can link the accounts under one license. In this case, send us an e-mail with all of the accounts and e-mails you used and we will link the accounts.


Can I set time usage limit ?

Yes! Via the parental control panel you can set the daily usage limit for each one of your kids. You can set the total time that your child is allowed to use the device, as well as a daily time frame to make sure that access to the device is only in the allowed hours of the day.


Can I use KIDO’Z on multiple devices ?

Absolutely, your KIDO’Z account is in the cloud and can be accessed from more than one device. Once installing KIDO’Z on new devices please make sure to log-in as an existing user.

How safe is KIDO’Z for kids ?

KIDO’Z offers several layers of security to ensure that your child is in a safe and protected environment.

First, all of the content made available for kids has been approved as 100% safe by our team – all parents themselves – that personally moderates all content before it can be viewed by the general public.

Moreover, the Parental Control panel features advanced security settings that allow you to customize the level of security according to your specific needs and beliefs.

Our tools are safe as they all work under an active security system which blocks all scripts, file downloads, pop-ups and any other attempts that lead to content which has not been approved, thus preventing it from being viewed by your children.


How can I enter the Parental Control account?

On the PC you can enter the Parental Control account using the links on the top or bottom  navigation bars or by visiting .

On a mobile device, you can enter the Parental Control account using the Parental Control icon on the bottom right corner of the application.

The Parental Control account is created only after installing the KIDO’Z application and running it for the first time. It is a protected area (from kids and from strangers), and entry requires a password. The Parental Control Account is both simple to use and easy to update.

Please make sure to remember the password you use for your Parental Control account, so that you will be able to return to supervise and manage your child’s account.

On mobile devices, this password is used for exiting the KIDO’Z environment, if you have chosen to use a password for exiting.


How can I control the online content (online game, website or video) my child sees?

You can enable (or disable) any online game, video or website to be visible on the KIDO’Z interface. Please enter the parental controls and click on the “Online Content” section, then go to the relevant section.

Select the relevant kid’s account (if you have more than one kid account)
and then, select the item you wish to enable or uncheck the item you want to disable for that child. That’s it.

How can I add personal or family videos to my child’s KIDO’Z?

To add videos, first make sure they are uploaded to YouTube. Then log in to Parental Controls, choose the Online Content button, choose the Child Account you want to add the videos for, then click KIDO’Z TV. Click the “My Channels” button, and then the “Add a new video” button. In the field at the top, enter the link of the YouTube video you want to add.

Does KIDO’Z support other languages? Is it localized?

Yes – Oui – Si! In fact, KIDO’Z is available in a grand total of 20 different languages. You and your child can now use KIDO’Z and the Parental Control dashboard in your own mother-tongue. Currently, our available languages are:

KIDO’Z is 100% user-friendly, even to those who are too young to read or write. As our application is based on a graphical interface which doesn’t require any reading or writing capabilities, kids from more than a 100 countries worldwide are currently using it – with ease!


How can I cancel my PC subscription?

Canceling your subscription is done via our payment partner Bluesnap (formerly Plimus).

Please go to Bluesnap general support form,  enter the order confirmation number you got from Kidoz when the subscription was bought, and select the “Cancel Subscription” option.

A confirmation email about your canceled subsection will be sent to you as soon as the action takes place.

We are sorry to see you go, and hope to see you in again in the future.

P.S. Please note that Kidoz is now available on Mobile & Tablets too, so if your child has moved from the PC to mobile, you can continue the service there, under the same subscription.


If you want to delete the parents account please go to your device Settings, click on Apps, choose KIDO’Z, and then click the ‘Clear data’ button.

The accounts will also be deleted if you uninstall the KIDO’Z application.

Does KIDO’Z mobile app work offline?

Yes. The app already supports offline mode and “remembers” the state of the device. All  safety features will work (log-in, home screen, playing with installed games, time limits, blockers, etc…).

Those features (online content, changing settings, etc.) that require Internet connection will notify the user to go online for the feature.
