Welcome to the inaugural post in our Employee Spotlight series, where we will meet some of the friendly faces here at Kidoz, and showcase firsthand stories about what working at Kidoz is like.

Meet Hannah: Kidoz's longest running employee, and cornerstone of our Israel office.  We sat down with Hannah recently, to talk about her valuable contribution to Kidoz and to get to know just a little but more about who she is and what she does.

What do you do at Kidoz?

My formal title is Strategic Partnerships & Accounts Manager - for many years I was in charge of Kidoz's mobile safe kid’s environment product and managed the OEM partnerships. About three years ago I moved to the AdOps team and I handle campaign management for approximately 10 agencies/clients - for most of Europe and Africa/the Middle East. And I make sure the Tel Aviv team has food in the refrigerator every week ;-)

What is the most interesting thing about your work?

Dealing with different people, discovering the reason something didn’t work and seeing campaigns succeed.

Where were you before working at Kidoz?  Any interesting jobs that led you to where you are today?

I’ve had many jobs  - all of them related to kids. I started my career in Israel as an English teacher. Coming from the US it was the only option I thought I had. From teaching I moved to educational publishing and then to educational software - which I think was the most significant move for me and the most related to where I am now. Discovering the computer and how it could relate to kids, I mean. Since then I have been part of companies that made websites for kids, chat communities for kids, and mobile desktops for kids.

What do you like most about the culture at Kidoz?

I love how you’re made to feel valuable and needed, and how supportive everyone is when you need help. I also love that I’m trusted to do my job and so have the luxury of working the hours I want and from home when needed. This is the second-longest I’ve been at any one job (8 years here - the longest was 14) and I’m not going anywhere; Eldad is stuck with me.

Can you share a few fun facts about yourself?

I am lucky to have two granddaughters who give me an excuse to lay on the floor and play with toys. I also love Candy Crush (all versions) and play it on 4 different devices (when my lives end on one device, I move to another).

✅  Check back next month as we feature another friendly face from Kidoz.
