To kick off this exciting new series, we're thrilled to feature our very own CEO, Jason Williams. Known for his strategic vision and leadership, Jason also has a passion for mobile gaming that keeps him connected and engaged in the world of tech and games. We sat down with Jason to discuss his favorite mobile games and what makes them stand out.

Q1: What are your top mobile games, and why do you enjoy them?

Jason Williams: My top three mobile games right now are Subway Surfers, Stumble Guys, and Rider. Each of these games offers something unique that keeps me coming back for more.

  1. Subway Surfers:
    • Why I Enjoy It: Subway Surfers is an absolute classic and the number one most downloaded game in the world.  It’s a classic!  Subway Surfer is an endless runner that is the perfect balance of difficulty, engagement, and bite sized entertainment. The game's vibrant graphics and fast-paced gameplay are perfect for quick sessions when I need a break.
  2. Stumble Guys:
    • What’s to love?: Stumble Guys is a hilarious and entertaining multiplayer game that pits players against each other in a series of obstacle courses. It's a great way to unwind and have some fun.  It’s the ideal game for low commitment and high enjoyment.
  3. Rider:
    • Tron-esque challenge: Rider is a thrilling racing game that combines speed with challenging tracks. I love the rush of navigating through complex courses and the satisfaction of beating my previous record. I play this with my daughter on her iPad and we have a blast trying to beat each other’s top scores.  She’s much better than me!

Q2: How did you discover these games?

Jason Williams: I discovered Subway Surfers and Stumble Guys  through working in the mobile games industry.  They are super popular and for good reason. Rider was introduced to me by my kids, and it quickly became a favorite in our household. It's fun to have games that I can enjoy both personally and with my family.

Q3: What features of these games do you find most engaging?

Jason Williams: For Rider, it's the customization and the challenge of mastering different tracks. I like the music soundtrack too. With Subway Surfers, I love the dynamic environments and the continuous updates that keep the game exciting. I’d get bored if there were never any scene updates. Stumble Guys stands out for its multiplayer aspect and the sheer unpredictability of each game, which always results in a lot of laughs and friendly competition.

Q4: Do you ever have to balance gaming with your responsibilities as a CEO?

Jason Williams: I am a casual gamer, so not really. I’m tempted by deeper games as I enjoy them, but time can be a challenge.  Gaming is a great way for me to unwind and take short mental breaks throughout the day. I find that it helps me recharge and stay focused when I return to my work. I like using gaming as a tool for relaxation and stress relief.

Q5: Any tips for someone new to mobile gaming?

Jason Williams: Start with games that are easy to pick up and play, like Subway Surfers. Look for games that offer a mix of challenge and fun, and don't be afraid to try new genres. Mobile gaming is incredibly diverse, and there's something for everyone. Most importantly, enjoy the experience and use it as a way to connect with others, whether through multiplayer games or simply sharing your favorite games with family or friends.

We hope you enjoyed this peek into the gaming preferences of our CEO, Jason Williams. Stay tuned for more insights and recommendations from our team in the next edition of "Behind the Screens." Happy gaming!
