Kidoz Ltd. ("Kidoz", "we", "our", "us") has established this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate its privacy protection standards.
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or used by us in connection with this website at kidoz.net (Website"), and in connection with our services available on this Website. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to enable you to understand how we collect and use information relating to you.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Kidoz does not own or control or to people it does not employ or manage.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Kidoz highly respects your privacy and takes special measures to insure that any Personally Identifiable Information collected by us is used solely in accordance with our privacy policy. It is important for us that you understand both what kind of information is collected and how it is used.

WHAT KINDS OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

This information collected by us falls into the following categories:
Personally Identifiable Information is information that you provide to Kidoz that personally identifies you and/or your kid(s), such as your name, phone number or email address and your kid(s)' name and birth date. Except as described below, Kidoz does not collect or require users of the Website to furnish Personally Identifiable Information.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that cannot be directly associated with a specific person or entity. Non-Personally Identifiable Information includes but is not limited to your computer’s configuration, the version of Kidoz you use, your country of origin and your preferred language.
Potentially Personally Identifiable Information is information that is Non-Personally Identifiable Information in and of itself but that could be used in conjunction with other information to personally identify you. For example, Uniform Resource Locators (“URLs”) (the addresses of web pages) and Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses (the addresses of computers on the Internet), which are Non-Personally Identifiable Information in and of themselves, could be Personally Identifiable Information when combined with Internet Service Provider (“ISP”) records.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Personally Identifiable Information may be collected from you and stored in our databases, typically when you register into our services or otherwise interact with us. It should be made clear that you have no legal obligation to provide us with any Personally Identifiable Information and the submission of such information is entirely subject to your sole discretion and consent. However if you will not provide us with the required information we may not be able to provide you with the services/access/use requested by you.

Please note that any Personally Identifiable Information voluntarily disclosed by you on our Website through e-mail, in public-view personal profiles, public-view uploaded materials, chat rooms, message boards, or intra-site message systems, may be viewed and possibly used by other users, and such disclosure may have unintended privacy implications for you.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFOMRAITON

A. NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE & POTENTIALLY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We use Non-Personally Identifiable and Potentially Personally Identifiable Information to analyze trends, to administer the Website and improve our services, to track users’ movements around the Website and to gather demographic information about our users. We also use such information for the purpose of providing you with statistical information about your kid(s)' usage of the Website and for matching content suitable for your kid(s). We may use the information collected to market directly to that person subject to requirements of applicable law. This Non-Personally Identifiable Information may be shared with third parties.
We also use Non-Personally Identifiable and Potentially Personally Identifiable Information for providing a better experience on the Website and for providing communications related to our Website, software and services, including for the following: (i) process and reply of your requests, (ii) obtain consents to provide and provide marketing materials, promotions and/or offerings (iii) support related issues, notices about updates, new features, or other information of interest to our users regarding the above. You may opt-out of receiving our marketing information by following instructions included in our marketing/promotional e-mails or by changing the appropriate account settings in our Website.
In addition, like most web browsers, Kidoz sends information to the websites you visit. This includes (1) Non-Personally Identifiable Information of the type that web browsers typically make available, such as the type of browser you are using, your language preference, the referring site, and the date and time of your visit; and (2) Potentially Personally Identifiable Information such as your IP address. This information may be logged on the websites you visit. What information is logged and how that information is used depends on the policies of each of the websites you visit.

B. PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

  1. To the extent required under applicable data processing laws and regulations, any Personally Identifiable Information that we collect will be stored in our data base and will be used in accordance with such applicable laws and regulations.

  2. We would like you to know that we do not disclose, share, sell, rent or otherwise distribute any of your Personally Identifiable Information with or to any third parties unless you provide us with your specific and explicit written permission to do so. The only two exceptions we make are:

(1)      If the information is required by law in order to prevent, investigate, or take action regarding illegal activities, situations involving potential threats to physical safety, rights, property or of any person, suspected fraud and violations of our Terms of Use. In addition, we will share information in response to legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; and
(2)      If we become involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, we will notify you before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy, through your email address or by placing a prominent notice on our Website.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any Personally Identifiable Information while on our Website. Kidoz uses cookies to enhance the user experience of our Website by means such as storing password or user preference information. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our Website with the only drawback being the disablement of some of the usability features of our Website. Some of our business partners may use cookies on their site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies. Kidoz also uses cookies to track and monitor usage of the Website by users for the purposes of marketing and website improvement. The data collected from these cookies will never be shared with an external source and will be used for internal purposes only.

SECURITY

We have implemented suitable security policies, rules and technical measures in order to protect and safeguard the personal information we collect from our users. We limit access to your information only to employees who need to have access to such information in order to provide you all the activities related to the Website. However, you should be aware that there is no data that is transmitted over the Internet that can be guaranteed 100% secure in transmission or safe from theft or illegal capture.

CHANGES AND CONSENT TO PRIVACY POLICY

By registering with Kidoz or by using the Website without prior registration, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change the provisions of the Privacy Policy from time to time and you are therefore advised to check it regularly. If we make any significant changes in the way we treat Personally Identifiable Information, we will notify you through your email address or by placing a prominent notice on our Website. Your continued use of the Website after any change to the Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy as amended.

UPDATE/DELETE USER INFORMATION

You can write to us at any time to obtain a copy of your information and to have any inaccuracies corrected or if you no longer desire our service (in which case we will endeavour to remove your Personally Identifiable Information provided to us). GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy shall be exclusively governed by and construed in all respects under the laws of Israel, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-laws provisions. Any and all legal claims, suits or actions that arise in connection with this Privacy Policy or with breach of this Privacy Policy shall be submitted exclusively to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel.
