Do I have to pay to use KIDO’Z?
KIDO’Z has a free trial. there is absolutely no charge to download and try it.

Once you download KIDO’Z, you receive full functional trial. After your trial period is expired you will need to purchase a license or continue in preview mode with limited functionality.

When purchasing a license you can choose one of the following option:

  • Monthly Subscription – $4.99/m
  • Annual Subscription – $39.99/y
  • Lifetime Subscription – $59.99 (one payment only)
What are the system requirements to install and run KIDO’Z?
KIDO’Z uses the Adobe AIR runtime and can be installed and used on every system for which AIR is available. These are the recommended requirements by Adobe:

Windows

  • Intel® Pentium® III 1GHz or faster processor, 512MB of RAM
  • Recommended: Pentium 4 2GHZ or faster, 1GB RAM
  • Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise including 64 bit editions, Windows Vista SP1, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition SP2 and SP3, Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows 2003 Server

Mac OS X

  • Intel Core™ Duo 1.83GHz or faster processor; PowerPC® G4 1GHz or faster processor

How can I be sure that KIDO’Z is safe to install on my computer?
Safety is extremely important to us and we are doing all that we can to make KIDO’Z safe to install, run and use.

KIDO’Z has been tested by Softpedia and received the “100% Clean Award”.

In KIDO’Z there are several layers of security that ensure that your child is in a protected safe environment.

The content that is available for the kids is safe, since our team moderates all content items before they become public.

Our tools are safe as they all work under an active security system which blocks all scripts, file downloads, pop-ups and any other attempts that lead to content which has not been approved, thus preventing it from being viewed by the children.

Moreover, in the Parental Control area you can find advanced security settings that allow parents to adjust the level of security according to their specific needs and beliefs.
Can I add sites and videos to my child’s account ?
Absolutely ! This is the beauty of the KIDO’Z Kid’s Web Environment – parents can add sites and videos for their kids. This makes KIDO’Z not only a great place to explore the web but also a place that is personalized with content that you know that your child will love.

When uploading content for your child, we ask you if you want to share this content, as this enables you to contribute to the KIDO’Z community. This helps to keep KIDO’Z fresh with new content all the time.
Does KIDO’Z support other languages ? Is it localized ?
Yes. The KIDO’Z Interface is available in 17 different languages! and content is localized by more than 160 languages

You and your child can now use the KIDO’Z Kid’s Web Environment and Parental Control Panel in your very own language. Available languages are:

The KIDO’Z Kid’s Web Environment itself is based on a graphical interface which does not require any reading or writing capabilities and kids from more than a 100 countries worldwide are using it.
How can I enter the Parental Control Account?
You can enter the Parental Control Account either directly from the top white bar in the KIDO’Z application or by visiting http://kidoz.net/parents .

The Parental Control Account is created only after installing the KIDO’Z application and running it for the first time. It is a protected area (from kids and from strangers), and entry requires a password. The Parental Control Account is both simple to use and easy to update.
I’ve forgotten my Parental Account Password. What should I do?
Simply visit the Parents Login Home Page on http://kidoz.net/parents and select Forgot Password?.

A personalized coded link will immediately be sent to your mail box, directing you to a secure area where you can renew your password

We have purposely not included this option in the application itself to ensure that kids can in no way obtain access to the Parental Control Account.
