Overcoming your Kid’s Internet Language Barrier

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

Kids communicate, read books, watch television and play games in their own language, so why should their Internet experience be any different?

Children today are an avid Internet user group and, as they are accessing the Internet from all over the world, they require content in many different languages. As there is a huge supply of kids’ content available on the Internet, it is just matter of finding the best content in your kid’s language.

KIDO’Z Speaks Your Kid’s Language

KIDO’Z does this for you by giving you the ability to customize content for your child based on his/her language.

To ensure that your child is accessing content in his/her mother-tongue, you can set KIDO’Z to show only content in his/her preferred language. And if your child is multi-lingual, you can choose for content to be available in up to 3 languages from a selection of over 160 different languages.

This may be done through the Account page of the Parental Control Account under Language Preferences/Kid’s Details.

KIDO’Z Speaks Your Language

And for you, the parent, the KIDO’Z application itself is easily changed into your own language. What this means is that the entire application from the User Interface to the Parental Control Account can be changed into your native language from a choice of 17 languages, to make Parental Control even simpler for you.

This setting is available on the log-in page of your Parental Control Account as well as in your Account section under Parent’s Details. All you need to do is to select your preferred language from a drop-down list.

To show you how to change the content language settings for your child and how to change the application language, here is our full video tutorial:
